and its strategic mission objectives the university is committed to enhancing community well-being through four key driving priorities.
These priorities are designed to achieve the university’s vision and ensure sustainable and continuous organizational development
as well as value creation for society and local communities.
The Center for Environment and Sustainable Management is primarily responsible for the sustainability dimension. The university emphasizes outcomes derived from these key priorities to continuously promote sustainable organizational practices and value delivery to communities.
The sustainability goal is to become a carbon neutral organization. Furthermore the university aims to develop into a world-class green university and a sustainable organization in the future aligned with the concept of Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions.
This commitment is reflected in the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) under the University of Phayao Strategic Development Plan for fiscal years 2026 to 2030 specifically under Strategic Issue 5 Developing a modern efficient transparent and good governance based management system for sustainability.
