Everyone can access and use public transport equally, equitably, and sustainably. Sustainable cities and communities create safety in communities within and around campus. Public transportation (Electric buses 100%) management within University of Phayao is an efficient use of resources within the university to limit the number of vehicles traveling within the university and reduce the amount of emissions from vehicles. Therefore, University of Phayao welfare shuttle service (Electric buses 100%) is provided free of charge in order to provide public service for students, personnel, as well as those who contact within UP to be convenient and safe.Free Bicycle for Rent
University of Phayao organized the project for UP Bike. This project is to support walking and biking as the main travelling way, to development in students and staff's better quality of life, prevention from pollution and promote physical and mental well-being. University of Phayao developed the landscape for biking since 2017, which is not changing traffic roads to be the pedestrian walkways which vehicles are not allowed to enter this area but only serve as the university's activity area with shady of trees and carbon absorption along the road over 3.5 kilometers.

University of Phayao has a policy for faculties and units to use public vehicles that are electric, such as electric golf carts, for use in traveling within the university, for coordination between units, or for student activities, in order to reduce the use of private vehicles and limit parking spaces in various buildings.
