The University of Phayao continuously implements proactive activities to encourage women to pursue higher education through the annual UP Open House. The event provides students with information about academic programs, scholarships, support systems, and career pathways in various fields.
The University also places particular emphasis on inspiring women to pursue fields in which women remain underrepresented, especially STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), through counseling, career guidance, learning demonstrations, and the sharing of experiences by faculty members and senior students. These efforts help reduce barriers to decision-making and build confidence in choosing further education.
