The university implements the Energy Conservation and Climate Change Policy and supports renewable energy adoption through solar rooftop development, energy efficiency programs, and low-emission transportation systems.Implementation
Solar Rooftop Project (PEA–UP Collaboration)
- Installed capacity: approximately 2.997 MWp (2,997 kWp)
- Registered under TGO (T-VER standard)
- Expected emission reduction: 2,077 tCO₂eq per year
UP BusTransit — Electric Transportation
- Electric buses are used for internal campus transportation.
- Supports reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from transportation activities.
Smart Energy Efficiency
- Smart building systems are used for energy monitoring and management.
- Energy-efficient equipment such as LED lighting is widely implemented.
- The university participates in Earth Hour activities annually.
School of Energy and Environment (SEEN)
- Conducts research and development in energy and environmental fields.
- Supports the university’s long-term carbon neutrality goal.
